I love exorcism movies! I don't know why I enjoy them so much. I think it has something to do with watching Poltergeist and the Exorcist on television when I was child. The latest exorcism movie that it out is called, "The Rite". The library has seven copies available.

This film is about a seminary school student that has lost his faith and no longer wants to become a priest. His professor encourages him to stay in seminary school and sends him to Rome to study exorcism at the Vatican with the well renown exorcist, Father Lucas Trevant (Anthony Hopkins). As you might have guessed, the student has is faith challenged when he witnesses his first real exorcism. It's not so much about a debate between faith and science as it is about faith and psychology. Are "demonic possessions" the same as psychological delusions? You'll have to watch and decide for yourself. This movie is rated PG-13 and is based on "real events".
