My son and I are big fans of Rick Riordan's exciting stories. We thoroughly enjoyed The Lightning Thief, the first book in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. Currently, we're caught up in the compelling mystery/adventure story: The Maze of Bones, also by Rick Riordan and the first book in the 39 Clues series, recommended for children in grades 4-7.

Do you have a favorite children's book author and illustrator? What children's book are you reading right now? If you need a bookmark to remember where you paused in your reading, stop in to the library and print the most recent Children's Book Week bookmark!
