The Local Growers' Guild is a cooperative of farmers in southern and central Indiana. Our mission is to educate, support, and connect local growers, consumers, businesses and communities about the importance of locally grown food. Our members include growers, businesses, and community members.
We are committed to providing high quality technical assistance, conservation planning and program information support to private land users. Together we can meet the changing challenges in managing Indiana's natural resources.
From the website: a place to find information about the Gateway Poultry Show held every April at the Monroe County Fairgrounds in Bloomington, Indiana. We typically have about 1,000 entries of chickens, waterfowl, pigeons and turkeys. We also have vendors that sell poultry supplies and a bird sales area. Food (breakfast and lunch) is provided by the Monroe County 4-H Poultry Club with all proceeds going towards supplies and awards for their fair. There is no fee for parking and no fee to enter the show hall.
