People and Animal Learning Services, Inc. (PALS) is dedicated to providing high-quality, safe, educational, fun and therapeutic animal assisted activities such as therapeutic horseback riding, hippotherapy, animal care and pet encounter therapy to children and adults with physical, learning, cognitive or emotional disabilities. Provides theraputic horseback riding and equine activities for children and adults with disabilities and at risk youth.
Rescue Farm, Inc., is a non-profit, no-kill rescue shelter working to end euthanasia of adoptable animals. Rescue Farm operates out of a private residence located in Poland, Indiana; therefore, adoptions are arranged by appointment only. See website for adoptable pets and adoption information.
The Deep Roots Animal Sanctuary is a non-hierarchical, non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of all animals. It is our goal to decrease violence against animals by establishing a safe space that will provide refuge for debilitated and displaced animals, on-going veterinary care, wildlife rehabilitation, community programs, and education.
The All Breed Rescue Alliance of South Central Indiana, Inc. (ABRASCI) is a non-profit, all volunteer organization. The Alliance was created in 1998 by six individuals who worked with their respective breed rescue groups dedicated to the rescue of a particular breed of dog. These individuals saw a need in Monroe County to work together, share information and publicize the concept of breed rescue.

WildCare Inc. provides professional care to sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife in Indiana. (Note: WildCare is not currently taking in any new animals for care due to budget restrictions and a large increase in animals in need. Call for more info.)
