Description	The Achievers Summer Academy will provide ninth, tenth, and eleventh grad students (entering Fall of 2009)with college preparation experience while living in a residence hall for one week during the summer. Participants will focus on SAT/ACT preparation and test taking strategies. Additionally, they will have workshops about financial aid, completing college applications, time management and goal setting. Participants are required to have at least a 2.5 GPA, complete two letters of recommendation from a counselor and a teacher, as well as an application.
