Description The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services. The Society's mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

The Society's Information Resource Center (IRC), (800) 955-4572, provides the public, health professionals and patients (and their families) living with blood cancers accurate, current, disease-related information. IRC information specialists are master's level social workers and health educators. They are available to speak with callers Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. EST.
