Scott Rolen’s Enis Furley Foundation is a non-profit organization created by Scott Rolen of the Cincinnati Reds. Our foundation is named after Scott’s eldest dog, Enis. In 1999 Scott had a vision to brighten the lives of children and their families who are dealing with an illness, hardship or other special needs. The Enis Furley Foundation works to achieve this goal by entertaining distressed families at Camp Emma Lou, our outdoor recreational retreat near Bloomington, IN. The Enis Furley Foundation also provides families unique and exciting, “once in a lifetime” sports experiences through our community outreach program, the Hot Corner Kids. Ultimately, our goals are quite simple and focused … we want to make children smile!

Description The Hoosier Canoe Club, founded in 1963, is a common adventure organization for outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy paddlesports, camping, wildlife and friendship. During the winter months the annual Activity/Trip Schedule is developed for the upcoming season and in early April becomes available to the membership. Trips are featured nearly every weekend from March through October. A monthly newsletter details each scheduled activity for time, meeting location, shuttle particulars, and other logistics. Description The Bloomington Blades Youth Hockey Association is dedicated to providing an opportunity for children between the ages of 6 and 12 to play ice hockey in a competitive, organized manner under the instruction and supervision of qualified coaches. The program welcomes all children with an interest in playing hockey. In addition to providing a structured format to enjoy the game, BBYHA also strives to help children develop their athletic skills, sense of citizenship, sportsmanship, and fair play.
