have you ever stopped to wonder about the origins of the expressive names that many wildflowers bear? Led by Jill Vance, Monroe Lake Interpretive Naturalist, well explore the history, folklore, and stories behind the names of many Indiana wildflowers, with a focus on spring and early summer bloomers. The program will include tips on how to recognize the featured species, and highlight upcoming wildflowers hikes that are led by area naturalists.
