In this course, participants will have the opportunity to learn the basics of HTML (hypertext markup language) that lays the foundation for creating a basic website. Participants will also be shown how to create a free website and blog online without having to know any HTML or coding. Patrons registering for this class should have basic computer skills or have taken the computer basics class at the library. Registration is required. (2 hours)

We will cover everything from reading news, finding reliable sources of information, library databases, to how to decide on an Internet browser. There will also be time for patrons to ask specific questions about the Internet.
