Monroe County Community School Corporation
MCCSC serves residents of Bloomington and areas to the south and east in Monroe County. Find a list of MCCSC schools and addresses, curriculum standards, special programs, a calendar for the school year, news of school closings and delays, and more. Phone MCCSC at 812-330-7700.

Richland-Bean Blossom Community School Corporation

BloomingMoms is an association for moms in Bloomington, Indiana. Connect with other moms and find meeting times via the group's Facebook page.

Born Learning
This United Way initiative is designed to help parents, caregivers and communities support early childhood development with information on stages of development, and research-based ideas for turning everyday moments into fun learning opportunities for young children.

City of Bloomington: Community and Family Resources Department (CFRD)

Indiana Department of Child Services
Provides information on Adoption, Foster Care, Child Support, and Child Protective Services. Also addresses child safety issues and frequently asked questions by parents, such as At What Age Can a Child Remain Home Alone?

Indiana Family and Social Services Administration: Department of Family Resources
The division administers cash assistance, child care assistance, and food assistance, employment and training services for low-income clients, as well as Medicaid eligibility, throughout the state. Also oversees Paths to Quality, Indiana's Child Care Quality Rating and Improvement System, and a database of Child Care Provider Information.

IU Health Bloomington: Obstetrics & Gynecology
Provides information about childbirth preparation classes, labor and delivery options, breastfeeding support and other services available through IU Health Bloomington Hospital.

La Leche League of Bloomington
An international nonprofit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed. The Bloomington organization offers monthly meetings, publications, telephone support and more.
