Have you heard of Microsoft Excel, but never used it? This one hour class will provide a brief overview of the basic functions and abilities of Microsoft Excel 2010. Topics covered include the ribbon, using templates, and saving an Excel spreadsheet. This class is intended for beginners who have little experience with Microsoft Excel 2010. Registration is required. (1 hour)

What is email? How do I sign up for an email account? Once I have an email account, what kinds of things can I do with it (attachments, address book, folders)? These topics and more will be covered in this brief overview of email intended for patrons that have at least some minimal past computer and Internet experience. We will be setting up email accounts with Gmail in this class. There will also be time for patrons to ask specific questions about email. Patrons registering for this class should have basic computer skills or have taken the computer basics class at the library. Registration is required. (2 hours)

Patrons registering for this course must have a basic familiarity with Microsoft Excel 2010, or have taken the Microsoft Excel Basics course. Registration is required. (2 hours)

Topics covered include: creating a Facebook page, building an online network and resume on LinkedIn, to gaining followers on Twitter. This and more will be covered.
