Tuesday, April 2, 2013 | 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Climate change and its consequences are increasingly recognized as among the most significant challenges of our time, with effects both globally and locally. This panel discussion will present a unique combination of global research, studies in the Midwest, and what climate change really means for local farmers and gardeners. The panelists include Ben Brabson, climate expert and IU Professor Emeritus of physics, Michael Simmons, Master Gardener, and Rebecca Barthelmie, IU Professor of Atmospheric Science and Sustainability. There will be time for questions and discussion as we try to understand and adapt to our changing climate.
Presented in partnership with the IU Center for the Study of Global Change.
