Indie rapper/producer Aesop Rock wrote a fan letter to folk singer-songwriter Kimya Dawson. They met up a few years later which sparked the pair's collaborative musical efforts. Both found something worth pursuing within the group dynamic, and The Uncluded was hatched. This, their debut album was recorded over the course of a year using a variety of locations and devices, from voice memo recorders to fleshed out studios. |
