CATS Candidates-on-Demand

Bloomington, Ind.--Voters can see and hear video statements by local candidates on the November 8 Municipal Election Ballot on demand via the Community Access Television Services (CATS) website, and as part of CATS regular programming on the Bloomington City Government Channel--accessible as Channel 12 on Comcast Cable Television and as Channel 301 on Smithville Cable Television. Viewers also can view the telecast of the League of Women Voters Candidate Forum of October 3, 2011.

CATS contacted the chairs of the Monroe County Democratic Party and the Monroe County Republican Party to offer all candidates the opportunity to have 3--5 minute candidate statements recorded free by CATS, then telecast on cable and streamed on the Web.
