CATS Candidates on Demand: Video Statements by Local Candidates for Public Office

Bloomington, Ind.--Voters can view video statements by local candidates on the November 6th election ballot streamed via the Community Access Television Services (CATS) website, Comcast and Smithville cable subscribers can also view the statements on their system's local CATS city and county government channels:

CATS offered all local candidates for public office the opportunity to have 3-5 minute candidate statements recorded free, then telecast on cable and streamed on the Web.

It was the first community network in the country to offer free studio time to candidates, as well as live streaming and archive access to all local governmental meetings.
