I really, really, really enjoyed this book...until the end. Kevin Brooks, as usual, was fantastic. I will read anything he writes, which is good because he is always switching genres. I was captivated with the story and the characters until the last page. I couldn't put it down. But the ending was rushed and left me rather annoyed and angry.
Being is, to put it frankly, the story of a boy named Robert who discovers that he is not like the rest of us. He is made up of something other then bones and organs. This is discovered when he goes to the doctor for a check-up. The rest of the book is spent trying to evade some strange men in suits who want him. The novel is also smattered with some romance and thoughts on life and growing up.

Don't let this review turn you off Kevin Brooks. His other novels are wonderful.
Would you recommend this book?:
I would have had you asked me half way through it, but I wouldn't now.
